Actors Repertory Theatre Announces the World Premiere of Euphoric Tendencies

New York, NY, February 14, 2008 -- Actors Repertory Theatre has announced its first New York City production, the World Premiere of Euphoric Tendencies, a new play by ART Managing Director Tanya Marten. Billed as an erotic romantic comedy dealing with the NY fetish scene and alternative lifestyles, Euphoric Tendencies opens Thursday, March 6th, and runs Wed. - Sat. nights through March 22nd, at the Access Theater, 380 Broadway, 4th Floor.

Euphoric Tendencies centers around Beth Moss, a young writer whose rocky path to creative fulfillment seems destined to keep her tripping with every step. Enter Mina, an effervescent free-spirit who helps lead Beth through the world of erotic spanking, bisexuality, and other sexual adventures. In the process, Beth manages to find herself, her muse, and, eventually, a more fulfilling life than she could ever have imagined.

Euphoric Tendencies is being presented as an AEA Off Off Broadway showcase. Cast includes: Katherine Barron, Lizzie Czerner, Nicole Godino*, Dona Elena Hatcher, Johnny Blaze Leavitt, Tanya Marten*, Jonathan Marten*, Gary Mink*, Carol Padiernos, Dayle Pivetta, Stephanie Sellars, Bella VendraminiART Artistic Director Jonathan Marten is directing, with sets and lights by Duane Pagano.
