Award winning recording artist/SAG Actor LOVARI to headline a Florida Pride/ new album
05-05-10 -- Recording artist/SAG actor Lovari, winner of GayWebSource Artist Of The Year and 2010 Pride In The Arts Best Dance Album will be headlining Florida Space Coast Pride in Melbourne, during Memorial Day weekend (May 28-30). In addition, Lovari will begin his Love Come Down promotional tour in the sunny state, including venue stops at Emerald City and The Cold Keg. This particular leg of the tour includes special guest dancers lead by Velvet Lenore - including Rianna Lenore, Tweet Lenore, Rychy Lenore, and Danny G.) Lovari will also be appearing at The Living Room Of Brevard County to speak with local LGBT organizations and to perform The National Anthem. On May 18, Premier Entertainment Group will release a remix of
Lovari's award winning album "The Statement". The U.S. and
international release, "Statement Redux" willl include remixes from
Drew G (Lady Gaga, Mya), Majik Boys (Rihanna), Eddie Kay (Inaya Day),
Seth Clark Silberman/PHDJ and many more. The lead single from the
album will be the double A sided "Work It Out"/"Haters". "Work It Out
(U'd Betta Do It)" serves as a pride anthem and is the opening theme
song of the weekly U.S. television series "Under The Pink Carpet"
(http://www.underthepinkcarpet.tv). "Haters" features a duet chorus
vocal with recording artist Janifer. The music video for "Haters",
directed by Fernando Navarette (Houston Bernard's "I Feel Gorgeous",
which reached # 1 on MTV/LOGO) will have its world premiere launch on
FIERTH (http://www.fierth.com). Both singles impact U.S. radio on May
11 and international radio on May 25.
The album also includes the Top Ten Zip DJ/Cashbox U.S.dance single "Move Your Body". All of Lovari's album and singles (including the upcoming "Statement Redux") are available on iTunes, Amazon, CDBaby, and various other outlets.
Further promotional stops throughout the month of May include Lovari's hometown of New York and its various boroughs - May 13th at Sugarland in Williamsburg, Brooklyn (with recording artist JFortino), a Pride Kickoff performance at The Staten Island Museum on May 22 (with dancers Cory Dion Richards and Von Duvois, a benefit at Splash (coordinated by Cherry Jubilee) in Manhattan on May 23rd and Lifebeat's Hearts & Voices concert series on May 4th and May 18th.
